Alyssa Milano started #metoo on twitter after seeing a friend suggest the idea on Facebook.
Since noon, sun oct 15 2017, #metoo was used over 250,000 times.
The idea was actually created over 12 years ago by Tarana Burke.
The problem is that it could be now too celebritised and that it doesn't actually empower women in general to go and talk about sexual misconduct or harassment that has happened against them to the appropriate authorities.
